  9. Installation
  10. ============
  11. To avoid installation problems, NO program (including TSRs)
  12. should be running or begin running when you start Windows to
  13. run the install.
  14.  
  15. If you receive a message like:
  16.  
  17.   "THREED.VBX in use - Can not copy!"
  18.  
  19.   run the All-Pro League Scheduler. If you receive an
  20.   "out of date" message, see how to resolve it below.
  21.   Otherwise, enjoy.

  23. Problems running the All-Pro League Scheduler
  24. =============================================
  25. If you receive a program message like:
  26.  
  27.   "The file 'c:\windows\system\threed.vbx' is out of date.
  28.    This program requires a newer version."
  29.  
  30.   we suggest you do and note the following:
  31.  
  32.     - exit Windows and return to DOS
  33.  
  34.     - go to the Windows System Directory
  35.  
  36.         CD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM  (for example)
  37.  
  38.    - in the case of THREED.VBX, there should be the files
  39.  
  40.         THREED.VBX (old version of file)
  41.         THREED.~BX (newer version of file copied by the
  42.                     installation program.  Newer version of
  43.                     whatever file will have the "~" in the
  44.                     file extension)
  45.  
  46.    - rename the older version of the file THREED.BAK
  47.  
  48.         REN THREED.VBX THREED.BAK  (for example)
  49.  
  50.    - rename the newer version of the file THREED.VBX
  51.  
  52.         REN THREED.~BX THREED.VBX  (for example)
  53.  
  54.    - start Windows and run the installation program again
